Blessings during the Corona Virus lockdown

Being in lockdown due to Covid-19, means spending most of my time in my little studio. And I am finding myself questioning what is really important to me. Actually it is more that that. I am taking the time to shift old thinking patterns that have held me from taking meaningful action in my life.

This is the perfect opportunity to shift our thinking from half empty to half full. But it’s more than that. It is a chance to connect with who we are: we are human beings, capable of changing, creating, and loving. No virus or adversity can take that away from us. We always can shift, and bring warm compassion towards our selves. We are loved – and we are enough as we are, right here, right now. Here are a few thoughts that may be popping up for you, during this time of quarantine, uncertainty and chaos and suggestions on ways to talk back to your self:

I should be doing more –> I am enough. I choose to do what resonates with my soul.

I am enough.

I choose to do what resonates with my soul.

I am not allowed to go out –> It is my choice to stay indoors. This is my time to get creative, and to appreciate the little things.

I’m scared that I won’t have enough –> I have everything I need, there will be plenty provided for me.

I feel out of control –> It is completely normal to feel this way when there is a change. I am exactly where I need to be. I feel exactly as I need to feel. I am well & All will be well. I send loving compassion towards my heart.

The shift is towards gratitude for all that I have right now. I am so satisfied with all that I have, rather than placing the focus on all that I don’t. And a small prayer: Placing your hand on your heart, wish to yourself “May I be well, may I feel peace, may I feel joy, may I be safe” and then extend this to a loved one: “May you be well, may you feel peace, may you feel joy, may you be safe”.
